They’re constantly transforming. Jakub, Witold, Filip and Dawid, formerly known as Waiting For An Audience, started as a guitar indie rock band, initially inspired by Foals, Two Door Cinema Club or Metronomy. Their single “Red Sky” was recorded back then, during the Sofar Sounds live performance. After Janek joined the band, they became more and more influenced by art rock, contemporary psychedelic rock and progressive rock classics. Giss is a fusion of acoustic, electric and electronic sounds, reminiscent of bands like Radiohead, Tame Impala or King Krule. Ostinato guitars travel through the haziness of chords, latin- tinged rhythms mix with grunge elements, and vocals move smoothly between gentle and more emotionally quivering tones.
